Director of Product Management, Advertiser Platform

Moloco•Seattle, WA
•$223,200 - $310,000

About The Position

Moloco is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the advertiser platform within AI Platform and Products, which owns GenAI platforms for employees and advertisers. The role owns strategy, roadmap, and execution for the NextGen Ads Manager, Moloco Ads MCP, and parity between the two. The Ads Manager is an AI-first experience where agents handle recurring campaign work and advertisers approve and verify it. The MCP lets advertisers connect their own AI, with write actions phased from read-only to live campaign changes. Agentic workflows should run through both products using shared components and permissions. The Director will lead product managers for both products, partner with engineering and design, and work with core product teams responsible for campaign logic. The role builds on Moloco's existing agentic platform for employees so capabilities developed for internal Growth Managers can reach advertisers. It will define a roadmap around advertiser jobs, take initial Ads Manager agents from beta to general availability, phase in MCP write actions, make agent actions safe and reversible, and measure business outcomes beyond usage. The position requires extensive product management experience, including managing product managers, shipping customer-facing products to paying customers, delivering production AI features to external customers, and owning API or developer-facing products through their lifecycle. Preferred qualifications include advertising-platform experience, hands-on work with LLM agents and safety practices, moving products toward API-first or agent-first models, and a relevant technical or quantitative degree or equivalent experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience at B2B software or ad tech companies.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing product managers.
  • Experience owning a customer-facing product end to end, from strategy through launch, with a track record of shipping to paying customers.
  • Experience shipping production AI agents or LLM-powered features to external customers and driving their adoption; prototypes alone do not qualify.
  • Experience owning an API or developer-facing product through its lifecycle, including versioning, permissions, documentation, and deprecation.
  • Ability to drive cross-organizational alignment, influence senior stakeholders in product, engineering, and sales, and maintain a roadmap amid competing requests.
  • Ability to define and report outcome measures beyond adoption, explain technical trade-offs to sales leaders, and communicate customer requirements to engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with advertising platforms, DSPs, or campaign management tools, and familiarity with advertisers’ everyday work.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based agents, MCP or similar tool-calling patterns, evaluation practices, and safeguards for agents acting on live systems.
  • Experience moving a product from a UI-first model to an API-first or agent-first model.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical or quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for an AI-first Ads Manager and Moloco Ads MCP, organized around advertiser jobs such as campaign creation, creative operations, reporting, and optimization.
  • Lead the product managers responsible for the NextGen Ads Manager and Moloco Ads MCP.
  • Take initial Ads Manager agents from beta to general availability and phase in MCP write actions, with Growth Managers using each phase before advertisers do.
  • Maintain parity between Ads Manager and MCP workflows, committing to a launch date for the counterpart product when a workflow launches in one.
  • Ensure agent actions progress safely from recommendation to approval to bounded delegation, and are explained, logged, and reversible.
  • Build on the shared agentic platform rather than creating a separate version, and contribute reusable capabilities back to it.
  • Partner with engineering, product design, and core product teams that own campaign logic to deliver the products.
  • Lead and grow the product team and work with design to create a unified experience across both products.
  • Define and report outcome measures, including task time for four core advertiser jobs, spend through agent-assisted paths, and campaign outcomes.
  • Drive cross-organizational alignment and manage the roadmap against competing requests.
