Director of Product Management, Advertiser Platform

Moloco•Seattle, CA
•$223,200 - $310,000

About The Position

Moloco is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the advertiser platform within AI Platform and Products. The role owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the NextGen Ads Manager, the Moloco Ads MCP, and parity between the two. The NextGen Ads Manager will let agents handle recurring campaign work while advertisers direct, approve, and verify it. The MCP will let advertisers connect their own AI agents to Moloco, with write actions introduced in phases from read-only access to live campaign changes. The Director will lead product managers for both products, partner with engineering and design, and collaborate with core product teams responsible for the campaign logic. The work builds on Moloco’s existing agentic platform for employees, extending successful workflows to advertisers. The role includes developing safe, explainable, logged, and reversible agent actions; taking Ads Manager agents from beta to general availability; phasing in MCP write actions; and measuring advertiser task time, spend through agent-assisted paths, and campaign outcomes. Moloco describes itself as an AI-native performance advertising company. Its products include Moloco Ads and Moloco Commerce Media, powered by its CARA compound ad recommendation architecture. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, paid holidays, a quarterly Thrive Day, and Flexible Time Off. The successful candidate may be eligible for a bonus and equity awards. Base salary varies by assigned work region.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience at B2B software or ad tech companies.
  • 3+ years managing product managers.
  • Experience owning a customer-facing product end to end, from strategy through launch, with a track record of shipping to paying customers.
  • Experience shipping production AI agents or LLM-powered features to external customers and driving adoption; prototypes alone do not meet this requirement.
  • Experience owning an API or developer-facing product through its lifecycle, including versioning, permissions, documentation, and deprecation.
  • Ability to drive cross-organizational alignment, influence senior stakeholders in product, engineering, and sales, and manage a roadmap amid competing requests.
  • Ability to define and report outcome measures beyond adoption, explain technical trade-offs to sales leaders, and communicate customer requirements to engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with advertising platforms, DSPs, or campaign management tools, and familiarity with advertisers’ daily jobs.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based agents, MCP or similar tool-calling patterns, evaluation practices, and guardrails for agents acting on live systems.
  • Experience moving a product from a UI-first model to an API-first or agent-first model.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical or quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for an AI-first Ads Manager and the Moloco Ads MCP, organized around advertiser jobs such as campaign creation, creative operations, reporting, and optimization.
  • Lead the product managers responsible for the NextGen Ads Manager and Moloco Ads MCP, and grow the product team.
  • Take Ads Manager agents from beta to general availability and phase in MCP write actions, using each phase with Growth Managers before advertisers.
  • Maintain parity between Ads Manager and the MCP, committing to a launch date for the corresponding product when a workflow launches in one.
  • Ensure agent workflows progress from recommendations to approvals and then delegation within limits, with actions explained, logged, and reversible.
  • Build on the shared agentic platform and return reusable capabilities to it rather than creating a separate version.
  • Partner with engineering, product design, and core product teams that own campaign logic to deliver the products and a unified experience.
  • Measure outcomes including task time for four core advertiser jobs, spend through agent-assisted paths, and campaign outcomes; treat usage as a leading indicator only.
  • Drive cross-organizational alignment and hold the roadmap against competing requests.
