About the position
The Director of Product at Interface.ai will be responsible for leading the Conversational AI product initiatives. They will define and execute the product vision and strategy, prioritize features based on customer needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI-powered solutions for the financial services industry and a proven track record of delivering innovative products. They will also manage a team, establish key performance indicators, and maintain relationships with strategic partners and customers.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Conversational AI solutions, aligning with business objectives.
- Own the product roadmap and prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and launch of new products and features.
- Develop and maintain expertise in Conversational AI and the financial services industry, staying updated on trends and technologies.
- Lead customer discovery efforts and gather feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of product managers and analysts, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners, industry influencers, and customers to stay ahead of market needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on Conversational AI, natural language processing (NLP), or related fields.
- Proven experience in building and scaling AI-powered products from 0 to 1 and 1 to 10, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong technical background, with the ability to understand complex AI technologies and effectively communicate with engineering teams.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of the financial services industry, its unique challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute product vision and strategy.
- Ability to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Deep domain expertise in Conversational AI and the financial services industry, staying up-to-date on relevant trends and technologies.
- Experience in customer discovery efforts, gathering and synthesizing feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of product managers and analysts.
- Ability to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with strategic partners, industry influencers, and customers.
