About the position
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Interface.ai, you will be responsible for understanding the technical features of our products and services in-depth. You will serve as the product expert in sales engagements, answering both business and technical questions, delivering custom demonstrations, and articulating the business value propositions. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales team in business development activities, providing relevant technical information to prospects. Your role will also involve building organizational and technical writing skills, leveraging learnings from customer interactions, and providing feedback to internal stakeholders. Overall, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring successful client handovers after sales.
Responsibilities
- Understand the technical features of products and services being sold in-depth.
- Be the product expert in sales engagements to answer business and technical questions, create & deliver custom demonstrations, articulate business value propositions, and provide technical competitive differentiation.
- Partner with the sales team in business development activities and assist them in conversations with prospects by providing relevant technical information.
- Work on building organizational and technical writing skills to execute business-critical RFPs and RFIs, maintain a complete and accurate database of responses.
- Leverage learnings from prospect and customer interactions and apply that knowledge to prospective customer communications.
- Provide prospect and customer feedback to internal stakeholders from the Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
- Be involved in other sales-related functions including client events and tradeshows as well as other key initiatives.
- Effectively document client expectations, solutions sold, and perform proper handovers to delivery after successful sales.
Requirements
- 6+ years of total technical experience (at least 3+ years in Sales Engineering)
- Extremely self-motivated
- Ability to learn quickly
- Passionate about the possibilities at the intersection of AI + Banking
- Worked in a B2B SaaS startup environment
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities
- Come from an engineering background, computer science (mandatory)
- Track record of successfully selling Enterprise Software; Experience selling to Financial Services is a plus
- Ability to understand the technical aspects of the product and handle technical questions during demos with ease
- Ability to engage in value-driven conversations with CXO level executives
- Ability to explain technical concepts
