About the position
As a Sales Development Representative at Interface.ai, you will be responsible for following up on inbound marketing leads, identifying qualified opportunities, and providing the necessary information to interested prospects. Your role will involve educating and developing prospects, creating target prospect lists, and cold calling into prospects generated from various sources. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying key players, researching business requirements, and presenting solutions to initiate the sales cycle. Collaboration with the sales and marketing teams, as well as maintaining accurate lead qualification information, will be essential for successful sales outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities
- Provide appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
- Educate and develop prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams
- Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts
- Cold call into prospects generated by variety of outside sources
- Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin sales cycle
- Profile strategic accounts, identify key individuals, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to start the sales cycle
- Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
- Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
- Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
- Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
Requirements
- BA/BS degree preferred and 1-3 years of professional work experience in B2B SaaS sales
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to write, speak, and listen effectively
- Obsession with prospect happiness and setting the stage for effective sales follow-up
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and fix any broken processes
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- Deep understanding of email communication and ability to manage inbox effectively
- Self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
