Director of Platform, Product Management

Albert InventOakland, CA

About The Position

This role is responsible for defining and owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Albert's platform, which includes Identity and Access Management, Integrations and Automations, Security, Admin interfaces, and Search. The goal is to ensure the platform earns and sustains enterprise trust at scale. The position requires driving platform strategy with both near-term value and long-term scalability in mind, clearly articulating tradeoffs to stakeholders and executive leadership. A key aspect is unlocking enterprise and regulated markets by ensuring platform capabilities meet security, compliance, and administrative requirements, thereby eliminating platform-level deal blockers that hinder large enterprise adoption. The role involves partnering closely with engineering, design, QA, and data teams to deliver robust platform capabilities, engaging directly with enterprise customers to understand their needs, and validating solutions. It also requires aligning the platform roadmap with company objectives by collaborating with other Product Managers, Customer Success, Sales, and Implementation teams, and driving infrastructure cost efficiency through platform reuse and standardization. The Director will serve as the company-wide authority on platform product, shaping planning, review, and shipping processes, and establishing the operating rhythm for the Platform organization. They will lead go-to-market readiness for major platform launches and build and evolve the product management capability within the Platform organization.

  • Familiarity with enterprise authentication and authorization, security, compliance frameworks, and the requirements of large global SaaS deployments across multiple regions.
