•$240,000 - $290,000•Onsite

About The Position

Skydio is hiring a senior individual-contributor Product Leader to own and execute the Cloud Platform & Infrastructure roadmap, delivering multi-cloud, multi-region, and government-compliant platform capabilities for federal, state and local, and commercial customers. The role also owns Skydio’s on-prem product line, turning air-gapped and self-hosted deployments into scalable, secure solutions. The work centers on translating customer and sales challenges into a focused roadmap and leading cross-functional programs while preserving a fast, reliable, and easy-to-use customer experience. The position is based onsite five days per week at Skydio’s headquarters in San Mateo, California, and includes 25–30% travel to customers as needed. Generous relocation assistance is offered. The role works closely with SRE, cloud engineering, security and compliance, legal, go-to-market teams, and executive leadership. It is open only to U.S. citizens or Green Card holders because of export control laws and government contract requirements; employment-based visa or permanent residency sponsorship is not offered. The annual base salary range is $240,000–$290,000. Compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include base salary, stock options, and comprehensive benefits. Eligible employees may enroll in group health insurance and receive paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and a 401(k) savings plan. Compensation and benefits are subject to applicable laws, company policies, and eligibility criteria. Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days is strongly encouraged for Skydio employees and required for certain positions.

  • Coordinate release planning, scope decisions, and communication of release tradeoffs to internal teams and customers.
  • Ensure customer feedback and bug reports are tracked and routed to the appropriate engineering backlog.
  • Translate FedRAMP, CJIS, and other regulatory requirements into product and operational requirements; coordinate compliance programs and vendor and auditor interactions to achieve certification readiness.
