About The Position

MRC Creekside, Huntsville’s only not-for-profit senior living community, is seeking a Director of Nursing for its skilled nursing unit, which has 66 beds. The role provides overall leadership of the skilled nursing unit and participates in the interdisciplinary team serving residents at all levels. The Director of Nursing will work alongside a long-tenured Administrator and within an organization that emphasizes compassionate resident care, strong staffing ratios, and MRC’s ICARE values: Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse in Texas.
• Prior success leading a team to provide residents with outstanding service and hospitality.
• Ability to monitor and establish processes that result in high-quality clinical care.
• Prior tenure in a community with good state survey results.
• Solid understanding of the commercial aspects of managing a skilled nursing unit, including Medicare reimbursement processes.
