About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Marketplace Operations & Growth to lead marketplace strategy, operations, and growth across multiple brands. This role will oversee marketplace performance while identifying new opportunities to expand revenue, profitability, and SKU presence across channels.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience managing managers and cross-functional teams, ideally in eCommerce, marketplace, or retail environments.
• Strong hands-on marketplace experience with platforms such as Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, or similar.
• Demonstrated success balancing marketplace operations with sales and growth initiatives.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to use data to prioritize investments and opportunities.
• Technical fluency with marketplace integrations, feeds, APIs, and channel management tools.
• Experience establishing KPIs/SLAs, improving operational performance, and holding teams accountable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to move quickly from issue identification to root cause and resolution.
• The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who is equally comfortable discussing long-term marketplace growth and diving into the operational or technical details that can impact performance.

Responsibilities

• Own marketplace strategy, revenue, margin, and growth plans across brands and channels.
• Lead marketplace operations, sales/growth, catalog, and technical functions, including managers and execution teams.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance targets while driving accountability across teams.
• Identify and evaluate new marketplaces, categories, SKUs, and private-brand opportunities using data and financial analysis.
• Oversee marketplace relationships, account health, compliance, listings, advertising, merchandising, and SKU expansion.
• Partner with IT and technical teams to troubleshoot integrations, APIs, feeds, channel engines, and posting issues.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and drive issues through to root-cause resolution.
• Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Customer Service, IT, and other teams to support marketplace growth.
