About The Position

Tiger Tracks is seeking its first Director of Marketing to establish a robust marketing engine that will transform the company from a referral-driven agency to a recognized brand for enterprise buyers. This role is focused on performance marketing, where the product being marketed is a performance marketing agency itself. The Director will have full ownership of all marketing activities, including content, SEO, paid acquisition, thought leadership, website management, email marketing, and events. A key objective will be direct accountability for a Tier-1 inbound lead generation OKR. The position reports directly to the CEO, comes with full budget authority, and involves building a marketing team from the ground up.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B marketing, with a significant portion spent at a performance or digital marketing agency.
  • Proven experience building an agency's marketing engine from scratch, including content programs, SEO, paid acquisition, and thought leadership that drove measurable inbound leads.
  • Direct accountability for a marketing-sourced pipeline or lead-generation number as a named OKR or KPI.
  • Hands-on experience across four or more channels (content, paid, SEO, email, CRO, events, PR).
  • Experience managing a team of two to five or more (content writers, paid specialists, designers).
  • Ability to provide specific, measurable results from past marketing work.
  • AI-native, with daily use of tools like Claude or ChatGPT in workflow.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a focus on rapid iteration and weekly shipping.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing a marketing agency specifically.
  • Experience with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Overviews.
  • A track record of building founder or executive thought leadership programs on LinkedIn.
  • Existing relationships with trade press such as Digiday, AdWeek, or Modern Retail.
  • Based in NYC or willing to travel to NYC monthly.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the content, SEO/GEO, paid, and thought leadership programs to generate qualified inbound leads for the partnerships team, with accountability for a pipeline number.
  • Architect the blog strategy, editorial calendar, case studies, benchmark reports, and proprietary research to establish Tiger Tracks as a trusted agency brand.
  • Ghostwrite and manage LinkedIn, podcast, and conference programs for the CEO and senior leaders to enhance founder thought leadership.
  • Optimize the website as a lead-generation asset, not just a brochure, including optimization for AI-surfaced answers.
  • Run Tiger Tracks' own paid acquisition programs on LinkedIn, Meta, and Google to drive qualified leads.
  • Own the website as a conversion engine, focusing on messaging, CRO, and landing pages.
  • Develop nurture sequences, gated assets, and re-engagement programs for email and lifecycle marketing.
  • Manage Tiger Tracks' presence at industry conferences such as ShopTalk, Possible, and Cannes Lions.
  • Hire and manage a high-output marketing team, including content writers, paid specialists, designers, and contractors.
