About The Position

A renowned group of Emergency Centers is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead business development and marketing initiatives across the Austin and Dallas markets. The ideal candidate must have direct Emergency Room (ER) marketing experience and a proven track record of developing referral relationships, increasing patient volumes, managing marketing teams, and executing community outreach strategies within the healthcare industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare marketing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room (ER), Freestanding ER, Hospital, or Acute Care marketing leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in physician relations, referral development, and community outreach.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare marketing practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
  • Direct Emergency Room (ER) Marketing Leadership Experience is Required.
  • Applicants without ER, Freestanding ER, Hospital Emergency Department, or Acute Care Marketing experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase patient volumes and market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, urgent care centers, specialty clinics, employers, schools, municipalities, and community organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate physician-to-physician networking events and educational programs.
  • Oversee all marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, radio, television, and outdoor advertising.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and demographic data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure maximum return on investment.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and vendors to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Lead community engagement programs, health fairs, school events, chamber activities, first responder outreach, and employer wellness programs.
  • Represent the organization at networking events and community functions.
  • Develop strategic relationships with local businesses and community leaders.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise marketing staff.
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of marketing activities, referral sources, and outreach efforts.
  • Track and report patient volume trends, referral growth, campaign performance, and market penetration.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for executive leadership.
  • Utilize CRM and data analytics tools to measure marketing effectiveness.
