About The Position

At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice, the goal is to change expectations for hospice care by providing exceptional care and service to patients and their families. The organization supports this through increased staff-to-patient ratios, more clinical visits, and lower clinician caseloads, and is a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP)-certified hospice.

The Director of Intake works closely with the business development team and referral sources and directs the day-to-day operations of the Intake Coordination team. The position participates in the Administrator on Call rotation every sixth week.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing in the state(s) of practice.
• At least one year of hospice experience and two years of nursing experience.
• Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Patience, motivation, and a positive attitude.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire trust.
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, give and welcome feedback, and contribute to accountability and positive team spirit.
• Put the success of the team above personal interests.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor and self-correct work processes and outcomes; and apply feedback to improve performance.
