Ascent Aviation Services is seeking a Director of Human Resources to serve as the strategic and operational leader of the HR function, overseeing Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll. With seven direct reports and a workforce of over 600 employees, this role drives people strategy, leads HR operations, and partners with executives and department heads to support organizational growth, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance. The Director will guide all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, retention, training, compliance, and succession planning. This role also involves leading company-wide HR initiatives, serving as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) under FAA regulations, and ensuring a consistent employee experience. The position fosters a culture of safety, respect, quality, and results, acting as a key advisor to the executive team and ensuring HR strategies align with business needs.
