About The Position

Lead the charge behind the scenes to deliver exceptional guest experiences at one of the nation’s premier science museums and event centers. The Director of Operations will oversee daily venue operations, ensuring seamless service, operational efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. This role will drive performance across departments, optimize processes, and elevate the overall guest and client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience in hospitality, food service, or large-scale venue management
  • Experience managing budgets, P&L statements, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational management systems
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations (ServSafe certification preferred)
  • Experience overseeing large teams and multiple departments

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all service areas within the venue
