About The Position

Brown Equipment Company is seeking a leader to expand the reach and impact of its Parts & Service Sales and Mobile Service teams across multiple states. This role focuses on leading PSSRs and Mobile Service Technicians, building customer relationships, identifying opportunities for aftermarket parts and service revenue growth, and expanding these teams into new markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in the heavy equipment business, understand field support, and be motivated by developing people, growing markets, and creating opportunities. This is a high-travel position, approximately 80%, emphasizing being in the field with teams and customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in service sales, field service, aftermarket or a related area.
  • Successfully led teams across multiple locations and/or states.
  • Understand aftermarket parts and service and know how to uncover opportunities without turning every customer conversation into a sales pitch.
  • Know how to coach people, set expectations and hold teams accountable while still building trust.
  • Comfortable using data and financial metrics to make decisions and drive profitable growth.
  • Experience in heavy equipment, construction, industrial or a related industry—strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop PSSRs and Mobile Service Technicians across multiple states and territories.
  • Drive profitable parts and service sales growth by helping PSSRs identify opportunities, strengthen relationships and become trusted resources for customers.
  • Spend time in the field with team members and customers.
  • Help expand PSSR coverage and Mobile Service capabilities into additional markets.
  • Establish clear expectations, consistent sales processes and meaningful performance measures across territories.
  • Develop and strengthen the Mobile Service model, including coverage, response times, scheduling and customer communication.
  • Ensure Mobile Service Technicians have the training, equipment and support they need to succeed independently in the field.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and help resolve escalated field service or parts/service sales concerns.
  • Use revenue, margin, utilization and other performance data to spot opportunities and make smart recommendations about territory coverage, staffing and resources.
  • Partner closely with Service Center leadership, Equipment Consultants and executive leadership to align growth opportunities with delivery capabilities.
  • Identify ways to improve processes, customer experiences, collaboration and results.
