Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years facilities maintenance
  • 2 years facilities supervision in hospitality or a related field
  • Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with Team Member relations issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer approved budgets for Facilities.
  • Develop, administer, and monitor all programs for operation, maintenance, and renovations.
  • Plan, develop and direct the staffing, training, and equitable treatment of all Team Members
  • Responsible for the overall operations of the Facilities Department
  • Responsible for obtaining all certifications, licenses and permits for the facility.
  • Establish, administer, and evaluate department policies and objectives, including standards of performance.
  • Establish and maintain a maintenance program to ensure a safe area for Guests and Team Members
  • Establish and maintain a work order system.
  • Establish and schedule an effective preventative maintenance program.
  • Make determinations of equipment depreciation and disposal
  • Direct Team Members engaged in painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
  • Direct Team Members engaged in the maintenance and repairing of utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
  • Maintain inventory of repair parts and consumable supplies to support building, grounds, physical plant, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtown and to maximize cash flow.
  • Effectively schedule, monitor, and evaluate all controllable costs.
  • Maintain all regulatory logs and records.
  • Implement and evaluate an energy management program.
