About The Position

The Walker School in Marietta, Georgia, is seeking a strategic, people-centered Director of Enrollment Management to shape enrollment and help families feel welcomed from their first visit. The role connects recruitment, selection, financial aid, onboarding, and retention into a coordinated strategy. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director works alongside the Head of School and Board of Trustees to set enrollment and net tuition goals, assess the market, and build a pipeline that supports the school’s long-term sustainability. The position oversees a multi-year enrollment plan; the Pre-K3 through Grade 12 admission experience, including the New Avenues Program; financial aid; retention strategies; and the admission team. The Walker School is a diverse, open-to-all-faiths community known for strong academics and close student-faculty relationships. The stated start date is July 1, 2027.

Requirements

Five or more years of independent school admission or enrollment leadership experience.
A full-cycle admission or enrollment track record.
Comfort working with funnel data and admission CRMs such as Ravenna.
Ability to present to the Board and engage with prospective families.

Responsibilities

Develop a multi-year enrollment plan based on data, market insight, and national benchmarks.
Lead a personal and welcoming Pre-K3 through Grade 12 admission experience at every entry point, including the New Avenues Program.
Oversee a financial aid program that balances access, affordability, and fiscal health.
Develop retention strategies informed by attrition data and stay and exit interviews.
Lead the admission team, supporting care, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Work with the Head of School and Board of Trustees to set enrollment and net tuition goals, assess the market, and build a sustainable enrollment pipeline.
