About The Position

Three Notch’d Brewing Company is a multi-unit brewery and craft kitchen brand operating in Virginia and expanding into South Carolina and Delaware in 2026. With 9 locations by year-end and continued growth ahead, we are building more than restaurants — we are building community gathering spaces where exceptional hospitality, elevated food, and craft beverages create an experience guests feel. We are at an inflection point of scale and are seeking a next-generation marketing leader to help build a smarter, faster, more connected growth engine. The Director of Digital Marketing & Guest Growth is responsible for driving traffic, increasing frequency, and improving guest lifetime value across all locations—while building the systems and workflows that power marketing at scale. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on leveraging modern tools, including AI, automation, and data platforms, to create a highly efficient marketing engine that delivers measurable business results. You will own the digital growth ecosystem across paid media, lifecycle marketing, loyalty strategy, and guest data—while designing systems that enable a lean team to operate with speed, consistency, and impact. You will partner closely with retail leadership to influence same-store sales, category mix, and event revenue, while also supporting brand awareness across our distribution footprint in Virginia.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years in digital marketing, growth, lifecycle, or related roles, ideally within the multi-unit restaurant space
  • Proven ability to drive measurable business outcomes (traffic, revenue, retention)
  • Experience working with CRM, email, or customer data platforms
  • Hands-on experience running paid media campaigns
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data
  • Systems thinker who looks for ways to scale impact through tools and automation
  • High level of curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI tools and emerging technologies
  • Strong understanding of how to connect marketing activity to real-world results
  • Comfortable balancing strategy and execution in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to prioritize high-impact work over volume of activity
  • Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with operations and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of loyalty strategy and visit frequency growth
  • Bikky integration and utilization
  • Segmentation based on guest behavior and visit patterns
  • Email/SMS lifecycle architecture (flows, triggers, personalization)
  • Fresh Beer Club growth and retention strategy
  • Paid media strategy across locations (geo-targeted, daypart, and launch campaigns)
  • Campaigns to drive traffic, frequency, and category growth
  • Digital support for events, corporate bookings, and off-peak demand
  • Cross-channel demand generation across retail, on-premise, and distribution
  • Design and implement AI-powered workflows for CRM triggers and segmentation, content creation and iteration, and campaign testing and optimization
  • Identify and implement tools that improve speed, efficiency, and output
  • Build repeatable systems that allow marketing to scale without proportional headcount growth
  • Partner with internal and external teams (including technical or student resources) to test and evolve capabilities
  • Build and maintain dashboards tied to same-store sales trends, known guest %, visit frequency, and campaign performance
  • Translate data into actionable marketing decisions
  • Lead a test-and-learn culture across campaigns and locations
  • Manage a lean, high-performing team including a Marketing Coordinator and Junior Designer
  • Set priorities and ensure execution aligns with growth goals
  • Collaborate with Director of Events to support event revenue growth
  • Elevate performance standards across all marketing channels
