Director of Demand Generation

Nucleus Security•,

About The Position

The Nucleus team is on a mission to help organizations prevent breaches by automating risk-based vulnerability and exposure management at scale. Our products help some of the world’s largest companies, government organizations, and MSSPs solve real problems with the ever-increasing scope and complexity of managing vulnerabilities. Our approach is market-proven in a dynamic space that is growing every day, and we are excited to expand our team so we can make our full vision a reality. We’re seeking a Director of Demand Generation to own our growth engine end to end: the plan, the budget, the campaigns, and the pipeline they produce. You’ll run integrated campaigns across paid, content, webinars, events, and email, personally build and optimize paid, and lead our Content and Events functions. We’re looking for someone with real paid and account-based chops who is comfortable in the data, already using AI to work faster, and ready to run a program without being managed through it.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing with substantial ownership of demand generation.
  • 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • Hard numbers showing qualified pipeline produced through integrated B2B SaaS campaigns, and a clear account of the decisions behind them.
  • Hands-on ownership of LinkedIn and Google Ads at scale, recently.
  • Experience building and running account-based campaigns.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and GA4.
  • Experience using AI tools (such as Copilot) in daily work and implementing AI into marketing workflows.
  • Ability to own execution while coaching a team and communicate clearly across Sales, BDR, and Product.
  • Thrive in a fast, fully remote, high-ownership environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Cybersecurity or another technical enterprise software market experience.
  • Federal or public sector marketing experience.
  • Partner co-marketing programs experience.
  • Demo experience.
  • Conversion content optimization measured against pipeline, not form fills.

Responsibilities

  • Own the demand plan and budget, including the qualified pipeline target, channel budgets, conversion assumptions, and forecasting spend.
  • Plan and run integrated campaigns across paid, content, webinars, events, email, and partner programs, owning the campaign calendar and briefs.
  • Direct paid agency day to day across LinkedIn, Google, and display, and personally build and optimize campaigns, including audiences, creative tests, budgets, landing pages, and conversion tracking.
  • Develop and execute account-based (ABX) campaigns, turning named-account strategy into targeting, creative, and account-level reporting, using intent and account signals.
  • Collaborate with the BDR Director on target accounts, engagement thresholds, sequence design, and follow-up standards to jointly own the process from first touch to qualified opportunity.
  • Manage Content and Events functions, including direct reports, contractors, and agency relationships, ensuring content serves demand, SEO, AEO, sales enablement, and partner programs, and events support commercial, federal, and partner conferences and regional events.
  • Evaluate lead quality, funnel conversion, opportunity progression, and won business, separating sourced from influenced results, and identifying and fixing funnel problems.
  • Improve web conversion through the site and campaign assets, and grow presence in AI-assisted discovery.

Benefits

  • Flexible PTO
  • 401(k) company contribution
  • Generous education and training budget
  • 100% company-paid healthcare
  • Fully remote work
