Contentful is seeking an experienced marketing leader to oversee their Demand Generation function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to create and capture demand across all customer segments. Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of demand creation and demand capture efforts across all customer segments
- Drive all stages of offer development and campaign planning from initial concept through to measurement and optimization
- Collaborate with leaders from Field Marketing, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand Experience to bring thoughtful and cohesive customer journeys to market
- Partner with growth channel and analytics teams to maximize campaign performance
- Manage complex processes across multiple teams and cultivate productive collaboration with stakeholders
- Use insights and feedback to inform experimentation roadmap and improve performance
- Lead a team of marketers responsible for creating demand and generating pipeline
- Own the demand generation strategy, roadmap, and processes
- Establish a demand gen plan to achieve funnel goals
- Create process, structure, and documentation to scale team impact and operate effectively
- Partner with growth channel teams to drive campaign launches
- Coordinate the handoff of leads sourced from campaigns and create integrated customer journeys
- Ensure tracking and processes are in place for successful campaign execution
- Develop measurement plans for campaigns and deliver campaign insights
- Provide recommendations for next steps to optimize performance or iterate for future campaigns
- Build marketing programs and run demand generation campaigns
- Manage a team of marketing professionals
- Deliver demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline
- Collaborate with stakeholders across creative, performance marketing, and technical functions
- Create clear briefing documents and comprehensive documentation
- Craft thoughtful customer journeys across touchpoints
- Analyze campaign performance and take action to iterate and improve
- Build teams and develop marketers, preferably in a growth company environment.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience building marketing programs and running demand generation campaigns, with at least 2 years of experience managing a team of marketing professionals
- Track record of delivering demand generation campaigns that drove pipeline
- Highly collaborative approach to working with stakeholders across both creative, performance marketing, and technical functions
- Excellent communication skills that allow you to create clear briefing documents and comprehensive documentation
- A customer-first mindset that allows you to craft thoughtful journeys across touchpoints
- Analytical aptitude and the ability to take action based on campaign performance to iterate and improve
- Success building teams and developing marketers, preferably in a growth company environment
