The Arc Erie County NY is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Day Habilitation Services to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our Day Habilitation programs. In this key leadership role, you’ll help shape high-quality, person-centered services that promote independence, community involvement, and meaningful opportunities for the people we support.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in administration, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant program management experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field plus 7 years of relevant program management experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and knowledge of applicable regulations and community-based services is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for Day Habilitation services
- Lead, develop, and support program management and staff
- Ensure high-quality, person-centered programming
- Oversee program budgets, staffing, operations, and regulatory compliance
- Strengthen community partnerships and opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement across services and programs
