About The Position

The Director of Community Relations at Crossroads YMCA connects mission with growth by building partnerships with businesses, civic leaders, and community organizations. This role expands access to YMCA programs and drives corporate membership growth. It is a highly external, relationship-focused position requiring significant time in the community meeting with executives, attending networking events, and representing the YMCA to potential partners. Responsibilities include prospecting new business, leading presentations, following up on opportunities, and tracking progress in a sales pipeline. The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new partners and engaged employees. It blends consultative sales with mission-driven work, requiring clear communication of YMCA membership value aligned with organizational priorities like employee wellness, engagement, and retention. The Director will manage multiple relationships at different stages and requires persistence, organization, and the ability to maintain momentum over time.
