The Community Relations Director (CRD) leads the sales and marketing initiatives. The goal is to increase/maintain occupancy. The CRD supports the financial success of the community, representing the company's culture and values, developing strategic marketing plans, and role-modeling extraordinary customer service. The CRD builds relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the greater community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a related field.
  • Compassion, kindness, and the desire to work with elders and their families.
  • Computer literacy, savvy in social media, and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be goal-directed.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
  • Able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the sales and marketing process, working collaboratively with members of your leadership team.
  • Make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events.
  • Do outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other health care professionals.
  • Guide, train and support team members to serve as a backup in taking inquiry calls, giving tours, and providing customer service as needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Prepare reports as required and develop strategic marketing plans.
  • Model the Compass Senior Living values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun as a representative of your community.
