Director of Clinical Services- SUD Treatment
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Clinical Director for its inpatient detox and residential treatment facility in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Director provides daily clinical leadership and supervision to support the facility’s smooth operation, ensures execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap, and develops an effective clinical treatment team through ongoing oversight, support, and professional development. The role also involves engaging with clients to foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented environment and ensuring client documentation is complete and timely, in collaboration with Utilization Review as needed.
Requirements
- Current licensure necessary to practice as a Clinical Director in Colorado: LPC or LCSW.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Five years of supervisory experience in a hospital or residential setting preferred.
- Three years of experience working with chemical dependency and dual-diagnosis clients preferred.
Responsibilities

- Cultivate and maintain an effective clinical treatment team through consistent oversight, support, and professional development.
- Oversee client engagement and morale, interact with every client, and foster a warm, encouraging, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
- Ensure client documentation is impeccable and timely, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.
