About The Position

Oak Plains Academy, a UHS company, is seeking a passionate and committed Director of Clinical Services to join their team. Located in a rural setting near Nashville, Tennessee, Oak Plains Academy provides psychiatric residential treatment services to children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. The Director of Clinical Services will have overall responsibility for coordinating, supervising, and implementing treatment programs and services for the youth. This role involves maintaining high-quality care through staff development and education, ensuring compliance with all JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations, and establishing professional relationships with medical staff, management, and other departments. The Director reports to the Hospital CEO.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Counseling
Licensed as an LPC-MHSP or LCSW by the State of Tennessee
At least five years clinical experience
At least two years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and working knowledge of appropriate intervention techniques
Two years’ experience treating children and adolescents

Responsibilities

Coordinating, supervising, and implementing treatment and delivery of programs and services for Oak Plains Academy youth.
Maintaining high quality care through staff development and education.
Ensuring the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures are in direct compliance with all JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations.
Establishing and maintaining a productive, professional relationship with the medical staff, management team, and all other departments.
Rotating 'on-call' (LIP) status with other Licensed staff to perform duties required by the facility.
