About The Position

HRW Companies is seeking a full-time Director of Care to help provide quality resident care and ensure residents’ safety and physical, emotional, spiritual, and medical needs are met. The role requires excellent leadership and customer service skills and supports the company’s mission to provide residents with a better quality of life in a beautiful, supportive environment. The Director of Care works alongside the administrator and provides direction and training to staff in accordance with facility policy. The community includes residents who may have mental illness.

Requirements

• Current L1MA certification.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the administrator.
• Monitor daily work assignments for completion and accuracy.
• Provide training and direction to all staff in accordance with facility policy.
• Administer medications.
• Obtain weights and vital signs.
• Conduct face checks and other protective oversight measures to ensure resident safety.
• Assist residents with personal care needs.
• Chart resident care.
• Interact with residents and address their needs and desires.
• Report changes in residents’ health and behavior.
• Coordinate residents’ care needs with providers and outside resources.
• Participate in on-call duties, staffing, and scheduling.
