About The Position

The Director of Campus Operations provides visible, service-minded leadership for the Sunset Manor & Village campus, a senior living community serving 400 residents and supported by more than 300 staff members. The campus offers apartment-style village living and private rooms in the manor, along with activities and amenities in a welcoming, social environment.

The Director leads daily campus operations and brings people, priorities, and resources together. The role oversees campus performance across resident and family experience, financial stewardship, occupancy, facilities and capital priorities, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement. The leader coaches and develops department leaders, sets clear expectations, strengthens collaboration, and promotes accountability, engagement, and professional growth. Leadership is expected to reflect Sunset’s values of Humble Stewardship, Servant-hearted Action, Compassionate Presence, and Courageous Accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational leadership, healthcare administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of progressive leadership or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, implementing initiatives, managing budgets, and driving operational performance.
• Leadership competencies include strategic thinking and planning, sound judgment and decision-making, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance expertise, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and organization, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, property management, or another service-focused environment preferred.
• Experience leading organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Sunset Manor & Village campus.
• Lead, coach, and develop campus department leaders by setting clear expectations, strengthening collaboration, and promoting accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
• Oversee campus performance, including resident and family experience, financial stewardship, occupancy, facilities and capital priorities, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Lead in alignment with Sunset’s Leadership Posture and demonstrate its stated values in leadership, decision-making, and relationships.
• Lead teams, implement initiatives, manage budgets, and drive operational performance.
