About The Position

ARCO is seeking a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients nationally. The role focuses on generating new business, building relationships with industry professionals, expanding ARCO’s market presence, and managing the sales and proposal process in coordination with marketing, project management, and operations teams. The position may require travel up to 40%.

Requirements

5–10 years of new business development experience.
Proficiency in business development software, such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, or Pipedrive.

Nice To Haves

Direct sales experience in food and beverage, cold storage, light industrial/manufacturing, or commercial sectors.
Design-build experience.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top-of-mind awareness.
Research and analyze economic factors that may influence market activity in specific niche markets or geographic areas.
Help develop and manage execution of the sales plan.
Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay informed about market conditions and competition and to establish relationships with new clients and prospects.
Coordinate and manage the sales and proposal process with ARCO’s marketing, project management, and operations management teams.
Travel as needed, up to 40%.
