About The Position

Campus is hiring a Director of Business Development & Partnerships to source, sign, and help launch partnerships that bring prospective students to Campus. This hands-on individual contributor will build the business development function, identifying opportunities that fit Campus’s programs and business model and developing both existing relationships and an outbound pipeline. Partnership areas include workforce and employment platforms, community organizations, education organizations, and employers where existing relationships can provide access to decision-makers. The role owns the partnership process from sourcing through signature and launch. The Director will develop business cases and proposals, negotiate agreements, manage partner relationships, and collaborate with Marketing and Business Operations on launch execution. The initial goal is to prove a repeatable, commercially sound approach; success may create the opportunity to grow the function and build a team. Partnerships should have credible enrollment potential and a path to positive first-year return on investment. Campus is a two-year accredited college offering live online classes taught by professors from universities including Princeton, Stanford, and Howard. Students develop business and AI skills and can pursue careers or transfer to four-year universities. Campus supports students with dedicated advisors, on-demand tutoring and coaching, and a technology platform. The position is based in a hybrid work setting in Tribeca, New York, with travel required for partner meetings, events, and business development opportunities. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

  • Experience building a pipeline through both outbound prospecting and relationship-driven introductions.
  • Strong commercial judgment, including the ability to assess audience quality, partner commitment, and partnership economics.
  • Experience structuring referral, co-marketing, employer education benefit, or comparable distribution partnerships.
  • Ability to work with senior decision-makers and operating teams and move deals forward amid competing priorities.
  • Practical, accountable approach to collaboration, coordinating internal resources while remaining responsible for progress and partner relationships.
  • Comfort working independently, building processes as needed, and balancing relationship development with consistent follow-through.
  • Current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship or immigration support.
  • Comfort traveling for partner meetings, events, and business development opportunities.
