About The Position

Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Educational Programs and Planning, the Director oversees educational program evaluation, assessment, and educational quality improvement, as well as the systems used to manage data related to these activities. These responsibilities include managing continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives related to course, phase, and curricular review; managing systems that organize and curate educational data; and supporting compliance with the standards of Einstein’s accrediting bodies, including Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), Liaison Council on Medical Education (LCME), and Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The Director manages a multi-year portfolio of projects that advance progress toward program objectives and strategic goals. The ideal candidate is someone who can think critically, problem solve, manage numeous concurrent projects, and implement process improvement.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a health, education, data analytics or a related field required; doctoral degree preferred.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and working with evaluation or performance data to improve programs and organizational decision-making.
  • Experience in accreditation practices; knowledge of the MSCHE, LCME, and/or ARC-PA standards, process and polices preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in program evaluation, institutional research, accreditation support, data management, project management, or quality improvement, preferably in higher education.
  • Excellent writing, strategic thinking, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear communication. Candidates should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data management software, and project management tools.
  • Strong data organization and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage concurrent initiatives and maintain clear documentation and tracking systems.
  • Ability to navigate complex institutional environments and coordinate work across multiple stakeholders with poise and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working with diverse partners, including faculty, students, administrators, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Office of Evaluation and Education Outcomes (OEEO), overseeing the collection, organization, and analytical reporting of educational data, including course evaluations, student performance outcomes, and student surveys.
  • Direct the assessment of courses, phases, and programs, partnering with faculty and academic leadership to interpret, document, and present evaluation findings as well as guide improvement activities.
  • Translate accreditation requirements, committee directives, and institutional priorities into improvement projects with milestones, documentation, and accountability.
  • Develop, monitor, and execute a portfolio of coordinated projects driven by assessment findings and accreditation requirements; coordinate timelines, deliverables, and participation across the institution.
  • Organize documentation, including reports, policies, procedure manuals, and evaluation records, to ensure institutional readiness for accreditation review.
  • Serve as a member of the accreditation team for self-study processes as well as accreditation visits.
  • Design and improve processes to collect and manage educational data more effectively.
