About The Position

The Director of Nursing is responsible for all aspects of nursing care delivery at the facility and serves as the department lead for the OR, Preop, and PACU. The role also oversees the facility’s quality improvement, risk management, infection control, and teammate education. The Director provides leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and facility policies and procedures, fosters positive working relationships, gives clear and concise direction to promote efficiency across clinical areas, and recognizes legal policy limits and individual practice.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Current RN licensure.
• Successful completion of a BLS course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of an ACLS course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Two years of nursing management experience.
