About The Position

Greenlight Rent is seeking a hands-on Director, Marketing & Communications to own and evolve the company’s brand across every channel. The role develops clear, credible materials for property partners, leasing teams, and renters while supporting revenue through sales enablement, partner marketing, and pipeline-generating campaigns. It offers significant ownership and the opportunity to shape marketing operations in a fast-moving company without an existing marketing infrastructure. A major early project is leading a marketing website revamp, from content strategy and information architecture through launch. The role also owns brand and product messaging, partner and renter communications, sales materials, lifecycle communications, content operations, events, and measurement. The first 90 days include documenting the core narrative, product messaging, and audience segmentation; scoping the website revamp with a build plan and timeline; completing accurate, self-serve partner and renter materials; establishing a post-launch communications cadence; and providing revenue teams with a usable, modular marketing toolkit. The ideal candidate is a builder who is comfortable balancing strategy and execution, working independently, iterating quickly, and coordinating closely with sales, partnerships, product, legal/compliance, and customer experience teams. Greenlight Rent supports a network of 3 million rental units nationwide and works with 47 of the NMHC Top 100 property owners. The company describes its mission as making housing more affordable and accessible through technology that reduces move-in friction and upfront costs for renters and helps property managers make faster, more accurate decisions.
