About The Position

Director, Mainstreet Finance Capital One is seeking a culture-led, results-driven, and strategic Director of Mainstreet Card Finance. This individual will lead a team of financial analysts. This individual will work directly with the Card (Business) Leadership Team, the Card Finance Leadership Team, and key senior leaders across Finance disciplines including Corporate Planning, Accounting, Balance Sheet & Capital Planning and Corporate Development. The Mainstreet Card business generates meaningful returns for Domestic Card and total Company. This role entails strong cross-functional engagement, deep analytic capabilities, and the ability to leverage data to influence decisions, as well as needing to motivate and drive team agendas. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Analysis, Management Consulting, or a combination
  • At least 4 years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
  • At least 3 years of people management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 12+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Analysis, Management Consulting, or a combination
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
  • 4+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports
