Director, IT ERP - SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC)

Envista Dentistry•Brea, CA
•Onsite

About The Position

The Director, SAP Order-to-Cash Solution Architecture serves as Envista’s enterprise design authority for its end-to-end SAP order-to-cash landscape, anchored in Sales and Distribution (SD), Logistics Execution (LE), and Service Management (SM). The role has architecture accountability across finance, supply chain, master data, integration, and digital platforms. It is an architecture leadership position, not a hands-on configuration role. The Director sets target-state design direction, establishes architecture principles and standards, leads architects and functional resources, chairs design governance, and holds managed service providers (MSPs) and system integrators accountable for solution quality, clean-core alignment, controls, and delivery outcomes. The position partners with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Internal Audit, IT Compliance, and IT executive leadership to translate business strategy into scalable SAP solutions. It advances the multi-year O2C and S/4HANA roadmap, rationalizes a complex multi-brand and multi-country landscape, and develops business cases and cost and risk views for major architecture investments. The position must reside within commuting distance of both Brea, California, and Irvine, California, because the office is expected to relocate from Brea to Irvine around Q1 2028. This is not a hybrid or remote opportunity and requires onsite presence four days per week. The compensation range is $203,100–$248,300. The total compensation package may also include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) match, and other applicable compensation plans.

  • Lead acquisition integration architecture by assessing acquired-company configurations, determining harmonization versus coexistence approaches, and defining scalable integration patterns.
  • Drive cross-brand and cross-region standardization by identifying configuration variations, legacy designs, and local exceptions, and directing sustainable remediation.
  • Build business cases and cost, benefit, and risk views for major architecture investments and present recommendations to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Serve as architecture escalation authority for high-severity incidents, root cause analysis, complex enhancements, and cross-domain design issues affecting O2C.
  • Define and enforce service-level, architecture, quality, and documentation standards; lead governance reviews; and provide architecture input into partner statements of work, resourcing, and commercial performance.
  • Set design and delivery priorities for MSP and system integrator resources, review their work, and hold partners accountable for quality, controls, service performance, and outcomes.
  • Oversee test strategy, user acceptance testing, release readiness, and sign-off for O2C-impacting changes before deployment.
