About The Position

This is a newly created foundational leadership role for Movember's Health Systems portfolio in Canada. The Director will lead the strategic implementation of Movember's Health Systems portfolio across Canada, aiming to drive systemic improvement in how health systems and healthcare professionals engage with men's health. The role involves growing Movember's presence in the Canadian market by building strategic partnerships with provincial health systems, healthcare organizations, insurance and benefits providers, universities, and government to scale the 'Men in Mind' program. Responsibilities include developing and executing pilot-to-scale partnership models, negotiating commercial arrangements, and positioning Movember as a trusted voice in gender-responsive healthcare. The portfolio covers Health Professional Training, Systems Research, Health Literacy, and System-Level Leadership, including localizing 'Men in Mind', conducting systems mapping research, and developing public-facing campaigns. At the policy level, the Director will lead Movember's health systems advocacy work, building relationships with Health Canada and provincial health ministries, convening leaders, and working to embed gender-responsive approaches into health strategy. The role also involves managing a small team, providing strategic oversight to an implementation lead in California, and building the business case for team growth. This is a two-year fixed-term role based in Toronto, reporting to the Global Director, Health Systems, with required international and domestic travel.
