About The Position

The Authentic T-Shirt Company®/SanMar Canada is seeking a Creative Assistant for a 2-year contract in Vancouver, BC. This role supports the Creative Director and the Creative team in planning and coordinating photo shoots, basic video recording, and formatting/photoshopping of garment imagery. The Creative Assistant will manage multiple projects from conception to completion, working collaboratively with the internal team and external contractors. The company emphasizes a supportive, creative, and growth-oriented work environment.

Requirements

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office programs
Strong organizational and time/project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and changing priorities
Ability to receive, interpret, and implement feedback constructively
Self-motivated, self-directed, hard-working, and well-organized
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, comfortable taking the initiative when needed
A positive attitude, eager and willing to learn
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Valid passport, driver's license and personal vehicle required

Responsibilities

Works with the Creative Department in contributing to the vision and goals of the department
Assist with all aspects of photo shoot preparation, including but not limited to: Coordinate samples, garments, accessories, and props; Prepare, organize, and maintain garments to ensure they are photo-ready; Order and coordinate meals and refreshments as required; Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Upload, edit, retouch and save imagery
Assist in the management of the department calendar to ensure project timelines are met
Adhere to current and future company policies and standards to ensure a safe and agreeable working environment
Assist in other areas of the Creative department and perform additional duties as required by management
