About The Position

Visa Direct is a payment service that enables clients to facilitate fund transfers and disbursements to accounts around the world using push payment technology. Applications include person-to-person transfers, payouts to micro-businesses, and funds disbursements. The Director, Global Sales leads strategic engagements with key clients and partners that are critical to Visa Direct’s domestic and cross-border solutions. The role involves consulting with partners to understand their needs, resources, and timelines; co-designing solutions and agreeing on scope and timelines; and coordinating with Visa stakeholders to manage sales opportunities across regions, structure complex deals, negotiate, and close multiple deals simultaneously. The position requires direct client engagement and end-to-end responsibility for strategic partner projects. The successful candidate will bring money-movement expertise, analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and interest in product development and delivery. They will combine sales and business development skills with product expertise, solutioning, marketing, problem-solving, flexibility, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail. The role works closely with cross-border payments innovators on high-visibility projects and requires managing complex work relatively independently. The position requires at least three days in the office, with the specific expectations confirmed by the Hiring Manager. Travel is required 5–10% of the time. Work hours vary according to departmental needs. The role is performed in an office setting and involves sitting and standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and frequently operating standard office equipment.
