About The Position

C3 AI is seeking a results-driven, hands-on marketing leader to manage the C3 AI Accelerator Series. The Accelerator is a one-day masterclass focused on agentic AI, where participants build a working application using their own data with C3 Code. The company plans to host these events monthly in major cities globally and integrate them into Tier 1 industry events. This role involves driving the direct-marketing strategy to ensure full attendance with the right individuals and guaranteeing smooth execution in each market. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in direct marketing, the ability to manage multiple cities simultaneously, and a focus on linking every event to sales pipeline generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of professional experience, including significant marketing experience
  • Proven success in direct marketing, with campaigns and conversion results you can demonstrate from invitation through attendance to pipeline
  • Experience running multi-city event programs at a consistently high standard
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and vendors
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Data-driven approach to measurement and pipeline attribution
  • Strong communication skills and the presence to work with senior executives and customers
  • Willingness to travel extensively, domestically and internationally
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Accelerator strategy, global calendar, messaging, and creative in partnership with marketing leadership.
  • Maintain and apply the Accelerator Playbook, including operating model, checklists, and decision rights, to ensure consistency as the program scales.
  • Plan and run the direct-marketing campaigns behind every event: personalized outbound, email, account-based campaigns, and partner channels.
  • Manage the registration funnel and data; drive qualified attendance, show rate, and cost per qualified attendee.
  • Partner with sales on target accounts, seller activation, and direct outreach, and drive post-event follow-up that converts attendees into account conversations.
  • Own the workback, market intake, and activation checklist for each city, including agency, venue, and vendor coordination.
  • Ensure attendee, technical, and facilitator readiness for a working session where every participant builds.
  • Run the scorecard and post-event debriefs, and report results, including pipeline influenced, to marketing leadership.
  • Manage the event budget and lead a small team of event and campaign marketers.
