Director - Emergency Services
About The Position
Under the direction of the Vice President of Patient Services/Chief Nursing Officer, the Director has administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments. This includes management of cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient, physician, and staff satisfaction, change management, and other responsibilities relevant to the position. The Director serves as part of the management team and Shared Governance Model, focused on promoting the mission, vision, and values of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice. The role embraces a person-centered philosophy, promotes patient- and family-centered services across the continuum, and enhances value-driven outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Seven years of nursing experience, including three years of progressive management experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
