About The Position

Develop and manage Jefferson's direct to employer (DTE) relationships, resulting in increased awareness of Jefferson's value proposition, direct contracts, and growth in the commercial segment. This role involves developing a target account segmentation strategy, creating a prioritized prospect list, and building and managing a robust sales pipeline with the account management team through direct and networking channels. The Director will also collaborate with Jefferson leadership to define, package, and market differentiated DTE offerings and identify high-potential services based on market opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 years experience in Direct to Employer sales, payer provider contracting, healthcare consulting, or healthcare strategy

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the DTE strategic vision, objectives, policies, procedures, and multi-year revenue plan.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, clinical leadership, and managed care to build scalable product service offerings, pricing strategies, and defined sales goals.
  • Evaluate and implement strategic plans to achieve financial objectives through effective client contracting and lifecycle account management.
  • Establish and ensure adherence to the organization's policies and procedures for all functional areas of responsibility.
  • Negotiate complex contract language, including financial terms, risk arrangements, and performance guarantees, in accordance with established parameters and guidelines.
  • Oversee analysis of market information to derive conclusions supporting contract negotiations.
  • Conduct external meetings with prospective clients to close new business and negotiate agreements.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and other teams to finalize contracts, including amendments and new agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, contracting, and product requirements related to provider contracting, including network adequacy standards.
  • Monitor and ensure program/solution adequacy, ensuring offerings meet cost, access, and quality standards in the market and align with mission and growth objectives.
  • Work with leadership, TPA partners, internal and external data analytics teams to gather accurate and timely data-driven insights for use in creating white papers, press releases, and marketing materials.
