About The Position

Mosaic is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to coordinate and manage program operations and ensure regulatory compliance. The role includes hiring, training, and scheduling staff; coordinating activities and appointments; and maintaining detailed records for the individuals served. The supervisor supports individuals’ community integration, safety, and well-being, and provides operational support to staff, including during emergencies. The schedule is generally daytime, Monday through Friday, with some nights, weekends, and on-call responsibilities; flexibility is required.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while communicating honestly about timelines, challenges, and questions.
Ability to adapt in a growing environment.
Associate’s degree in a related field.
One year of experience in a related field.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
Medication administration certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage program operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
Hire, train, and schedule staff.
Coordinate activities and appointments for individuals served.
Maintain detailed records for individuals served.
Accompany individuals to recreational and social activities to facilitate their integration into the community.
Ensure living environments and program activities comply with safety and regulatory requirements to monitor individuals’ comfort and safety.
Intervene when aggressive or inappropriate behavior occurs by implementing behavior plans and strategies.
Provide on-call support to staff during emergencies.
Locate staff to fill shifts when necessary.
