About The Position

Direct Support Staff help people with developmental goals and daily living needs, including personal hygiene and support for individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. The role focuses on helping participants grow, learn, live well, build meaningful relationships, take part in their communities, and enjoy their favorite activities. Staff support goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, while using patience and compassion to provide care.

The listed schedule is 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, plus every other Saturday and Sunday. The posting lists pay of $18.94 and identifies the position as DSP Saint Cloud Somerset (35).

Requirements

• A valid driver's license held for at least one year after the permit stage.
• A clean Motor Vehicle Record that meets Sevita's insurability policy.
• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
