The supervisor works at the program location in residential, vocational, or in-home settings and is generally expected to visit each shift and all employees at least once per month. The role supervises Direct Support Professionals and manages assigned personnel, including hiring-related decisions, evaluations, orientation, training, discipline, and resolving employee issues within the position’s responsibilities. The supervisor also supports documentation, billing, census management, individual funds, staffing, stakeholder relations, health care, maintenance, and safe program operations. Other duties may include backfilling roles under the supervisor’s oversight.
