About The Position

Caresense- Lansdale is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). As a DSP, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This is a part-time, and PRN (as needed) position at our facility in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and individuals with disabilities.
Must have a compassionate and patient demeanor and a strong commitment to improving the lives of others.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them achieve their personal goals and maximize their independence.
Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management.
Support individuals in participating in community activities and events, promoting socialization and community integration.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress, behavior, and any incidents.
Maintain a safe and clean living environment for the individuals in our care.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.
