About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential North program in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, by helping them build daily living skills, encouraging independence through personalized care plans, and contributing to a positive, empathetic residential environment. The position is scheduled Sunday through Wednesday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and pays $19.06–$19.44 per hour. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding, and each day may bring different activities and needs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Be willing and able to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
• Provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
