About The Position

Bancroft is hiring Direct Support Professionals for its Adult Residential Department in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The role supports adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, or individuals in need of neurological rehabilitation. Direct Support Professionals provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner and help residents build skills and independence through personalized plans of care.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Sunday 11:00 a.m.–11:30 p.m., Monday 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Tuesday 4:30 p.m.–11:30 p.m., and Thursday and Friday 5:30 p.m.–11:30 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
