About The Position

Bancroft is hiring Direct Support Professionals for its Adult Residential department in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role provides quality, empathetic support to adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Sunday 8 a.m.–10 p.m., Monday 12 p.m.–10 p.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday 2 p.m.–10 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44.

Direct Support Professionals help residents build everyday skills and independence through personalized plans of care, while communicating with residents, families, and guardians and contributing to a supportive team. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver’s license in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
