About The Position

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a 1:1 part-time role in the Camillus/Syracuse, NY area. The position involves assisting a 20-year-old female with money management, completing transactions, personal hygiene, and positive communication. The individual enjoys activities like playing on the playground, swimming, dancing, and visiting places such as the MOST, McDonalds, the library, the mall, and the movies. She is described as having a "go with the flow" attitude and is open to trying new things. The role requires patience, creativity, engagement, and an active approach, with a willingness to travel to different locations and provide personal care when needed. Additional hours may be available with other individuals served by the agency.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
