About The Position
GT Independence is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The organization helps people live a life of their choosing, regardless of age or ability, and seeks staff who will support that vision by assisting clients to live authentically. Work is performed in a member’s living situation, a typical office setting, or other community settings. The starting wage is $17 per hour. No experience is required; training is provided to the right person.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid, active driver’s license required.
- Current car insurance with at least liability coverage required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must provide copies of a driver’s license and car insurance card before hiring.
- Skills include teamwork, multitasking, adaptability, communication, and time management.
- Desired behaviors include being patient, compassionate, attentive, reliable, responsible, and accountable.
