About The Position

GT Independence is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional to work in Merrill, Wisconsin. The role supports members in living a life of their choosing, regardless of age or ability. Work takes place in a member’s living situation, a typical office setting, or other community settings. No experience is required; training is provided to the right person. The starting wage is $17 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid, active driver’s license.
• Current car insurance with at least liability coverage.
• Must pass a background check.
• Provide copies of driver’s license and car insurance card before hiring.
• Skills in teamwork, multitasking, adaptability, communication, and time management.
• Patient, compassionate, attentive, reliable, responsible, and accountable.
• No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certificate is welcome.
